Doctor Bio

The Community Fertility Center was created in 1984 by Dr. Carlos Sueldo. Dr. Sueldo was born and reared in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and graduated from the University of Buenos Aires Medical School in 1970. In 1976, he completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology internship and residency at Chicago Medical School. After two years as a faculty member in Chicago, he became an Assistant Clinical Professor at the UCSF-Fresno Medical Education Program's OB/GYN Department and completed a residency in reproductive endocrinology at the University of Southern California. He has worked as a Clinical Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UCSF-Fresno since 1994. He is currently the Chair of the UCSF-Fresno Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology. He was a board director of the World Endometriosis Research Foundation in London and the previous chairman of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine's International Membership Committee.
